APRA uprising  in West Java in 1950 had a purpose

The APRA uprising  in West Java  in  1950 had a significant  purpose.   Several parties have called the  uprising one of  the  bloodiest  events in  the province of West Java. At that time there was a large-scale murder in which many victims fell.

Previously, there  have been different types of attacks. This included attacks on Sulawesi.  Until 1950, massacres were  carried out in the province of West Java.   The attack was immediately led  by the captain Westerling.   He and  APRA (Angkatan War Ratu Adil) along with 800 people committed various types of cruel acts.

APRA’s horrific uprising in West Java

The bloody attack  on the victims of APRIS members was led by Piere Westerling.   It was in 1950 that the  attack took place. This happened exactly in January on the 23rd.   According to reports, Westerling had 500 thousand soldiers who formed a  secret organization.

It was delivered directly by JM Verburgh, the chief inspector of  police from the  Netherlands.   Reports were received and said that the secret organization was called Ratu Adil Persatuan Indonesia.  The organization now has   armed units.   This is called APRA.

The APRA uprising in  West Java  in  1950 had specific objectives. At the foundation, Westerling contacted the  commander-in-chief of the Army  named Buurman Van Vreeen.   The meeting was held by Westerling to discuss the plan for  rebellion in  the government of President Sukarno.

Finally, when 1950 was on  January 5, Piere Westerling sent  his ultimatum to RIS.   In essence, he requested the RIS to respect states like the Pasundan state  .   He also asked that the RIS recognize that the APRA is an armed force  and serves as a Pasundan army.

Yet apparently there was no response to the ultimatum.   In the end, he decided  to stage a coup d’état.   Westerling and his followers shot the army   they found.   A number of his troops, together with Sergeant Meijer, were sent to Jakarta  to make arrests  against Sukarno.

APRA uprising  in   West Java in 1950 AD

This massive uprising  in  the province of West Java was carried out after Indonesia gained independence.   The resistance continued in several places  until one day Indonesia actually became independent with its own hands.

Apparently, however, various disputes or problems arose  after  independence was declared.  Actually,  the APRA uprising in  West Java in 1950 had quite a lot of purpose.

  1. Maintaining RIS

Various negotiations have been conducted by the Dutch colonizers and the Republic of Indonesia and have always been  the parties of the Republic of Indonesia that often suffer losses.   For example, when negotiations such as Linggarjati and Renville  were conducted, but it turned out that the Dutch  side denied this.

Several parties implemented directives  to the Republic of Indonesia.   Yet there are also people who want RIS to continue to exist.   They are supporters of APRA.   Supporters of the unitary state were  eventually eliminated by the APRA side

  1. The Netherlands wants to be safe  in Indonesia

The APRA uprising  on West Java in 1950   also aimed to keep the Dutch safe in Indonesia.   The existence of these colonizers in Indonesia apparently brought them  a big profit.   They get money from the colonies to live.

Of course, the advantages were obtained   by the Dutch side in various areas.   The APRA uprising  was also carried out as a way out  to  maintain its position in Indonesia.

  1. Pasundan states can be maintained

Negara Federal Pasundan is  actually part of RIS.   The location is in the province of West Java.  The Dutch made it to support him together with the people who did  not  side with  the Republic of Indonesia. This was done with only one promise to the people of Indonesia.

  1. Creation of a federal state

The APRA uprising in  West Java in 1950 aimed to  establish a federal state in the country.   This is the main goal of establishing  APRA.   This is done by killing several key parties to  launch  the action  .

  1. Defending the army on its own

Belanda also wants to  have his own army in his state.  The right to the freedom to govern the area   .  Those who join APRA   are soldiers who are not  admitted to APRIS because they have no requirements. APRA will thus be used as the main army  in pasundan state.

The sadistic uprising of APRA

The APRA uprising in  West Java  in  1950 had a very sadistic purpose.   This rebellion left a very deep wound. Bandung is like the city of  Mati in the early  1950s. Exactly on January 23, 1950, the troops moved early in the morning to  various posts in the city of Bandung.

The soldier is the  leader of Raymond Westerling, the queen of APRA.   Movements continued to be carried out by  APRA troops.  They walked, drove on moors, jeeps and much more. These soldiers will rebel against civilians, confiscate goods and perform various types of torture.

Residents of Bandung were terrified.  All shops are closed.   All the residents tried to  save themselves  from  the rebels. The soldiers continued to disarm anyone  found  on the Cimindi road to  Cibereum.   All apris members they found were killed.

The  staff who were  ready  to go to their respective bases did not escape their cruelty either.   Westerling and  his men never wanted to shoot  the APRIS soldiers  he  met.   Not only were they hoarded by being shot, APRIS soldiers  were even chopped into pieces like animals.

Their violent  actions  killed at least 61 TNI soldiers.   The  APRA uprising in West Java  in  1950 aimed  to favor the Dutch side and  make you 18 innocent civilians.    In fact, none of the APRA members  were  victims.   This incident turned Bandung into a dead city.

APRA’s ACK’s recognition of the persecutionn YaNg Heartbreaking

The very heartbreaking incident  in Bandung was also acknowledged by APRA.  The group admitted  to  having carried out various types of removal from military figures to civilian figures in Bandung.

Westerling is indeed looking at a number of important figures in the province of West Java.  These figures include  Colonel Sadikin, Lieutenant Soetoko as deputy chief  of staff of the Siliwangi division and Major Mohamad Rivai as the governor’s head of military information.   Military IV  West Java.

The other four  are Lieutenant Colonel Sentot Iskandardinata, Lentan Colonel Dr Errie Sudewo who  is  the  chief of staff  of the Siliwangi Division, Sudjono, who is a member of the Parliament of pasundan  state   , but  pro-pasundan state parliamentarian  is  RI, and CPM Major Roehan Roesli.  The assassination plan was carried out by giving poison to 7 people.

But attempts to kill by mixing poison into their drinks apparently failed. This is because one of the members was aware of the  APRA’s plan which was very gruesome.   Finally, they planned to shoot live.    However, it also didn’t work because each of the targets managed to escape.

APRA’s  horrific  actions  may be a dark history  for the Indonesian  nation. In the  post-independence era,  various forms of rebellion   occurred, causing Indonesia to falter.   The  APRA uprising in  West Java in 1950 aimed  to weaken the Republic of Indonesia and  destroy  its government.
